I’m not going to lie, these past few months of the year have been ROUGH. With all of the cancelled events (RIP in-person White Coat Ceremony), deaths, and everything else going on, it is so easy to get bogged down by the negatives. I like to try to look on the bright side whenever possible, so today I am sharing a few positives that have come out of this crazy time.
- I have had the time to REST, something I desperately needed. It has been so nice to slow down and just be.
- I have become more adaptable. With the quick transition to online learning, I have had to make a lot of adaptations to my routine, my environment, and my study habits in general.
- I spent almost three months under the same roof as Jon! We have been long distance for almost all of our relationship (our five-year anniversary is in November), so this was a nice change (and now we know we won’t kill each other when we finally move in together hehe).
- My blog and Instagram account have definitely been put on the back burner during my second year of PT school, but this time at home has allowed me to really pour into this passion of mine. I finally decided to get serious about my brand, and have been taking the necessary steps to build it into a successful business.
- I rekindled my love for reading (for pleasure)! I implemented reading into my new morning routine, and I also rounded up seven books I want to finish before the end of the year.
- I went tubing and white water rafting for the first time! I spent a week in the mountains (social distancing of course), and it was such an amazing trip.
- I am finally learning to love my body in all of its different forms.
COVID-19 and everything that has come with it definitely sucks, but I am trying to remain as positive as I can in this season of life.
